Don Giovanni
Don Giovanni wine is a romantic tribute to Giovanni Valsangiacomo, who started a small wine business in Chiasso way back in 1831. The Merlot grapes come from vineyards located on the limestone soils of Castel S. Pietro, and the wine is distinguished by approximately 12 months of aging in second- and third-use French oak barrels.
Loverciano Riserva dei Conti
The Loverciano Riserva di Conti wine is obtained exclusively from grapes grown in the municipal vineyard of Castel S. Pietro. Valsangiacomo, a patrician family from the municipality, was entrusted with the task and honor of planting the vineyard in the early 1990s, and subsequently cultivating and vinifying the excellent Merlot grapes. The very limited production of this wine is a perfect blend of tradition and the elegance of aging in second-use French oak barriques.
1831 Syrah Valsangiacomo
The vineyard used to produce the 1831 Syrah Valsangiacomo was planted in Morbio on one of the most suitable and best-exposed soils in the Mendrisiotto region to mark the birth of Tommaso, son of Lara and Uberto Valsangiacomo. A true rarity in the Ticino wine scene, it is vinified with care and attention in very limited quantities.

Roncobello
The Morbio vineyards, planted in the early 1950s on clay-limestone soils using the most innovative techniques, produced the first bottle of Roncobello wine in 1957, today considered by many to be the “father” of all quality Merlots in the region. Canton of Ticino.
Cuvée Speciale
This wine comes from a single vineyard located in the municipalities of Arzo and Besazio on Mount San Giorgio, already listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site due to its geological features. The soil, formed in the Middle Trassico, gives this wine unique characteristics of structure and elegance.
Piccolo Ronco, a great wine from Pedrinate
Piccolo Ronco comes from a terraced vineyard with perfect south-facing exposure on the moraine hill of Pedrinate. This hill, the southernmost in Switzerland, was formed by the Adda Glacier and therefore, thanks to the presence of granite debris, features the only light and relatively acidic soil in the region.

The Merlot Il Mattirolo offers Elegant, fresh, and fruity wines. A characteristic that characterizes the four labels that make up this line.
Il Mattirolo is the nickname of a bandit who lived in the Mendrisiotto region in the mid-19th century who used to hide in the areas where the Merlot grapes for this wine today come from.

L’Ariete Valsangiacomo, the company’s historic label, has been embodying innovation in the Mendrisiotto winemaking tradition since 1967 and is the result of a contemporary approach to vineyard management and the vinification of Merlot grapes.

Grappa, spirits, and liqueurs.
This selection takes its name from a mythological bird, capable of controlling fire and rising from its own ashes. It is a refined reference to the products of grape distillation, which, both pure and through further processing, give life to grappa, brandy, and liqueurs.
La Fenice – Ticino Walnut Liqueur (Nocino)
It is a traditional liqueur made according to an ancient recipe, which involves infusing walnuts and natural flavors into grappa.

IGT fortified wine
Il Portico is a fortified wine produced in limited quantities and made with Syrah and Cabernet Franc grapes grown in Italian-speaking Switzerland.
During the vinification process, fermentation is interrupted with the addition of a fine distillate, resulting in a wine of great richness, complexity, and just the right amount of sweetness.

AMERICAN BITTER
In 1890, Romeo Franzini, founder of the eponymous company in Milan, perfected the recipe for Franzini American Bitter® using exclusively natural ingredients.
During Milan’s “Belle Époque,” this bitter gained popularity, winning prestigious awards such as the gold medal at the Brussels International Exhibition in 1910 and the Grand Prix in Turin in 1911. In 1922, production was moved, under license, to Switzerland, where it continues to be made with original ingredients. The recipe, passed down through generations, still preserves its unique character today.
